Our field training session, including a briefing from our High School assignors, starts at 7:00 pm and goes until 8:30 pm.

The dinner and field training session are free, but if you need the training to count for recertification, then fees are due to the WSRC.

To sign up for recertification credit: log on to https://www.wareferees.org/, Instruction tab at top, then clinic and events schedule. Choose Existing Referee(Grade 7&8) wishing to recertify, then register with clinic #1C-0819-HRGRE-0007

You have completed recertification when all your requirements for your Referee Grade have been met.

Grassroots Referee (formerly known as Grade 8 or Grade 7) Requirements:
Pay 2020 Registration Fee(s)
Sign up and attend at least one Grade 7/8 recertification clinic. If an "Online Only" recertification clinic is available, you may sign up for it. This clinic, if available, does not require you to physically attend a clinic.
Complete the Online Recertification training materials and embedded Recertification Test with a score of 80% or better.

Below are the "Rules of Engagement" for late and lapsed Referees:

I was Last Certified in 2017, 2018 or 2019
If you were last certified in 2019, you must recertify before July 01, 2020. You may not officiate games unless you are certified for the current year.

If you were last certified in 2017 or 2018, you may recertify between July 01, 2019 and Oct 31,2019. This will certify you for 2019 and 2020, however, you will need to pay the registration fees for both years plus any “late” administration fees WASRC may add. Once recertified for both years, you may referee immediately.

If you recertify after Oct 31 and you were last certified in 2017 or 2018, you must recertify between Nov 01, 2019 and July 01,2020 to officiate in 2020.

If you recertify after Oct 31, you may only recertify for the following calendar year. You may not officiate until Jan 01, 2020 and you have recertified.

See you there!
